This policy covers this website, ayelmanager.com, and AYEL Manager, an app by AYEL Productions.

Who is responsible

This website

The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider processes the technical data any web request carries (IP address, browser, time of the request) to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. If you email us, we use your message and address to answer you and keep the correspondence for as long as the conversation needs it.

AYEL Manager

AYEL Manager runs on your own computer, and your data is stored there. The app sends data to an outside service only to do something you have asked it to do, and only to the accounts you have connected.

Connected accounts

When you connect a platform account, you sign in on that platform's own page and choose to grant access. The app stores the resulting access token on your computer and uses it only for the purposes below. You can revoke access at any time in the platform's own settings.

• TikTok. With your permission the app reads your profile information (display name, avatar, account id, bio, profile link, verified status) to show which account is connected, reads your account statistics (follower, following, like and video counts) so you can see how your account grows, reads the list of your public videos with their view, like, comment and share counts so each post can be matched to its record in the app, and uploads or posts the videos you choose, with the caption and settings you choose, to your TikTok account. The scopes used are user.info.basic, user.info.profile, user.info.stats, video.list, video.upload and video.publish. It does not read who your followers are, your messages or other accounts' content, and it never posts anything you have not chosen to post.
• Instagram and YouTube. The app publishes the posts you choose and reads back their statistics.
• Gmail. The app reads the emails you choose to bring into it and saves the drafts you ask for. It sends an email only when you confirm the send.

Data received from these platforms is used only to provide these features to you. It is not sold, not used for advertising and not shared with anyone else.

Service providers

To provide some features, the app uses an AI provider (to draft or summarise text you ask it to), a transcription provider (to caption videos you add), cloud storage (for media you publish and a backup of your data) and an issue tracker (for bug reports and suggestions you send from the app). Each receives only what that feature needs. Some providers are based in the United States; transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Legal basis and retention

We process data to provide the website and the app you use (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for keeping the website secure and answering enquiries, on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data is kept for as long as it is needed for these purposes, or longer where the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, ask us to limit or stop processing it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Write to ayo@ayelproductions.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority; ours is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We tell users of the app about material changes to how it handles their data before they take effect.
